The first weekend in October was the annual SSVC (split screen van club) “Brighton Breeze”. The Brighton Breeze ‘Fun-Run’ is the VW event organised by the SSVC on the weekend of the 2nd-4th October 2015. It involves a convoy or a drive down to Brighton from London in the company of hundreds of VW’s of all types.
The ‘Fun-Run’ starts from Hook Road Arena at 8:30am to destination – Madeira Drive in Brighton.
Marshall at Brighton Breeze
For the past few years, Buzz has helped out at this event with parking the hundreds of VW’s on the Saturday morning. It means getting up before sunrise and helping the team of volunteers from the SSVC to organise the traders and park the VW’s overlooking the sea at Brighton.
VW Campers & Retro Tourer Commercial
This year Buzz drove down in his 1954 VW Barndoor Campervan and Bob, our fabulous salesman took the commercial tourer for us. Buzz had a prime spot for his campervan – right in front of the Coolflo guys.
Evening Entertainment at Brighton Breeze
Saturday night’s entertainment is at the race course in Brighton, where there is basic camping in the car park. The band who played “Gravy Train”, were awesome.
