Retro Tourer Ltd is a family run business headed by husband and wife team, Buzz and Marion Burrell from Braunton, North Devon.

The inspiration for Retro Tourer was borne out of the desire to offer an alternative to the mainstream motorhome. “We have four children, but trying to find a way of touring without erecting an awning every night to accommodate our larger family, led to us looking at motorhomes rather than just camper vans. In our search, we could not find anything with a layout that we liked and the kerb appeal, which we craved. We decided to design and build exactly what we wanted.” Having owned VW T5’s Buzz and Marion knew that the driveability and comfort were top class. As a result, the first bodies have been designed to fit on a VW T5 chassis, but they could easily be adapted to suit other vehicles.
