Retro Tourer Coachbuilt Motorhome Bodies

Whether it is a commercial or a coachbuilt motorhome body, they are built the same way:

The body is the same for the motorhome and the commercial unit.

• The chassis frame is fabricated to your vehicle’s interior design, then sent off to be galvanised.
• Once bolted in place, the side wall structure, which is aluminium and has been TIG welded and set up on the jig, can now be bolted into position.
• The roof structure is then formed.
• At this stage, all of your interior furniture will be cut on the CNC machine, and fitted.
• Fixtures and fittings are then installed.
• The body is then wired and plumbed and then tested for function.
• The body is fully insulated and ready to receive either the fully polished or the brushed aluminium skin.
• The windows are installed.
• Lights, trimming etc are fitted.

The fantastic thing about our coachbuilt motorhomes is, although all the body dimensions are the same, whether it is the motorhome or the commercial trading body, you can have whatever layout you wish (extra openings, storage cupboards for example). The vehicle can even be designed around your hobby/pastime or business. Storage for surf boards, skate boards, fishing rods, hot air balloons etc. Or sales of coffee, pasties, hot or cold foods etc. The options are endless!
