Buzz has over 25 years’ experience of restoring and customising vehicles, having owned vintage Volkswagens since before he was old enough to even drive. He is well known and respected in the VW scene. His keen eye for detail has contributed to him having won numerous awards for his 1971 VW beetle, 1959 VW camper van and most recently his 1954 split screen camper van, which was also featured at the Volksword Show in 2013 and was on the cover of Volksworld magazine in 2013. All with unique custom made VW features. He is now designing and building coachbuilt motorhomes for his company, Retro Tourer.
Marion has worked in an office environment for over 20 years, mostly as a P.A. but recently taken the plunge to work with Buzz and be his P.A. rather than use all her skills helping someone else. She once admitted that she’d rather go camping than stay in a hotel, but as her 4 children have grown, it became quite a squeeze in their camper van. In her spare time she likes to sew, bake with their 2 girls and go to the beach. Their 2 sons are now grown up and away at University in Manchester and Plymouth.
