We love the VW show season and are really looking forward to forthcoming events that we will be attending. May Day 2016 sees the 40th Anniversary of the ‘Stanford Hall’ VW show, organised by the Leicestershire & Warwickshire VW Owners Club.

Next on the calendar for Retro Tourer is Vanwest, now in its eleventh year. The team behind Vanwest are dedicated, to providing everyone with a great VW show. They offer the elements of a traditional VW show, plus a few of their own innovations, combined with all the attractions of a luxury campsite on the beautiful Somerset coast.

Special Show Offers – Motorhome

We are offering a free camping accessory pack with all orders placed for a Retro Tourer Motorhome at either of these shows. (Signed application form and £1,000 deposit received and cleared within 7 days of the show).  Payment terms will then be confirmed, depending on the project.

Camping accessory pack  worth £300

We can build you a motorhome on your own chassis cab from £25,000. Of course, we are more than happy to source the chassis cab on your behalf.  This is a guide price only. Your motorhome will be built according to your own specification, style and needs.  The build time for a Retro Tourer Motorhome is 10 – 12 weeks, with bookings now being taken to start at the end of June 2016.

Special Show Offers – Caravan

The camping accessory pack is also available free with any order placed at Stanford Hall or Vanwest 2016 for a caravan. The 3 berth caravan that we currently have in stock is only £9,500.  A deposit of £500 will secure this for you. You can also commission your own caravan build, with prices starting from £9,500 depending on the size and specification.  The build time for one of our Retro Tourer Caravans is 6-8 weeks, with bookings now being taken to start at the end of June 2016.

Special Show Offers – Commercial Tourer

If you prefer to supply the chassis cab, we can build you a Commercial Tourer on your own base vehicle. The price will vary according to your needs and requirements, but to give you an idea, if you supply a VW T4/T5 or T6 chassis, we can build a commercial body on this for £15,000. This is for the basic model. A luxury sleeping commercial starts from £24,500 (including the base vehicle). These prices do not include the specialist equipment that you may require such as refrigerators or cooking appliances, although we would be happy to arrange this for you, at an additional cost.  All prices are guidelines only.

VWT5 Chassis Cab

We are now taking bookings with a build start date of the end of June 2016. The time-scale for a basic commercial body is 8 weeks. A deposit of £1,000 would secure your slot in our schedule.

Instead of a camping accessory pack, if you place an order for a Commercial Tourer at either Stanford Hall VW Show or Vanwest, we will give you £300 towards the cost of your vehicle graphics, which we are again happy to arrange on your behalf. This offer is valid for signed orders placed at either of these shows and with a deposit of £1,000 to be received and cleared within 7 days of the event.

We want to help your business. If you buy a Commercial Tourer, we will promote it via social media, on our website and in the press, if you would like us to.  We like to think of Retro Tourer as a family. We are interested in what you are doing and how your business is progressing. We will be having annual rallies for the Retro Tourer Motorhome and Caravan owners and would love our Commercial Tourers to attend as well, particularly those catering businesses!
