Greasy parts on the kitchen table!

Buzz has spent a lot of time recently up at his workshop working on Retro Tourer.

Foolishly (in hindsight) I complained that the girls and I hardly ever saw him. Imagine my delight, therefore to come downstairs after tea one evening to find him cleaning his piston rings on the kitchen table!!!

I guess it could have been worse, the whole engine might have been there too..

He has decided, in his “spare” time to rebuild the engine off our VW camper (it’s a 1954 barndoor for those of you who know a bit about VW’s).

We have just booked a camping trip to France this summer so I hope he gets it finished in time!

He’ll be back on the motorhome again soon.
