Among many other reasons, the husband and wife who formed Quirky Campers, believe in holidaying at home.
Let us just say this: holidays don’t need to be foreign. They also don’t need to be stressful, logistical nightmares involving 100ml toiletry planning and two-day jetlag. Our quirky campers are here to help you discover the joy, delight and (if you want it) wild adventure of a holiday closer to home, supporting our local communities and protecting our fragile environment. Our vans may not be no-carbon, but compared to a long haul flight they’re practically saintly.
Another reason for choosing Quirky Campers was that the first motorhome Buzz built, now called “Sir James” is also available for hire through their website and is proving extremely popular in the North West, with his owners based in Liverpool.
Here are some pictures of the interior to give you a little more of an idea of how spacious Percy is
Percy sleeps 4 with one double and two single beds. The single bed at the rear and above the cab can both be made up all the time if required, but we tend to use both these areas for storage whilst travelling. The double bed is converted from the sitting/dining area.
There is plenty of storage too and we are happy for you to bring your pet along on holiday – our Boxer dog, Baxter loves camping and has his own special space to sleep under the bed at the rear. We only ask that you leave the motorhome as you find it…
Prices start from £60 per day – check out availability on the Quirky Campers website for motorhome hire.
